The service performed by the vendor as part of the AMC Contract Service. Vendor does not charge for the Service but if a part needs to be replaced and not covered under the service, the vendor can charge for it. This also helps for Product’s preventive maintenance and longer life.
The service performed by the vendor as part of the Warranty Contract Service. Vendor does not charge for the Service but if a part needs to be replaced and not covered under the service, the vendor can charge for it.
The OnCall service performed by the vendor but not part of any AMC or Warranty Contract. Vendor does charge for the Service and if a part needs to be replaced, the vendor will charge for it also.
The Installation Service performed by the vendor but not part of any Contract. Vendor may or may not charge for the Installation Service depending on from where the product was purchased and if free installation was offered part of the purchase or not.
The customers without any active AMC or Warranty Contracts are the leads. eg. Customers for any of the Non Contract Service and Installation Service offered. This data is very helpful for the Vendor to generate more business by offering these customers AMC or Warranty Contracts.

The Annual Maintenance Contract is an agreement between the Customer and vendor for maintenance of products by providing services as recommended for maintaining the products for one year. Depending on the products, fixed number of services in a year is offered by vendor to the Customer as part of the agreement.
Eg. AMC Contract is offered by vendors of products like AC, Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Security Camera, RO Water Purifier, etc.
Warranty Contract is similar to AMC Contract there is no fix number of Service need to be done in it. During the Warranty Contract, if Customer needs Service for that product, they will contact Vendor and request for the service and the vendor need to provide a service. Normally Vendor provides Warranty Contract with purchase of the product.
Eg. Pest Control Company offers Warranty Contract for
one or more years for
the service provided. If Customer have some issue with product and
informs the vendor, the Vendor will provide the service as part of Warranty
Contract.
